George Daniel began fly fishing at age six in Potter County, PA. Growing up George learned from Joe Humphrey and others. Later he competed in five World Fly Fishing Championships, and coached both the US Youth Team and Fly Fishing Team USA in four World Championships. George has written many books such as Strip – Set, Dynamic Nymphing, Nymph Fishing New Angles and Tactics, as well as numerous articles in print and online. Today he logs more than 280 days a year on waters near and far. George is currently the lead instructor and director of the Penn State University Angling Program.
