Fly Fishing Tips & Tricks w/Michael Lohman

I have been fly fishing for over 50 years now. I have learned a lot of interesting ways

to cast, manage line for extra long dry fly drifts, and manage large amounts of

slack and still be able to set hooks and land fish. Different styles of fly fishing

require different types of hook sets. By learning this you will catch and land

more fish.

Fight larger fish and land them quickly. Words from one of my favorite FF

authors, Dave Hughes, "Trout should be landed swiftly, admired briefly and

released unharmed." I follow this rule with every species of fish I catch.

By learning these tips and tricks. You can catch more fish and have more fun doing it.
