Braggin' Board Picture of the Week ![]() |
Blurb of the Week . -The fishing has slowed to a more summer-like pace locally. There are still some Sulphurs around but they are winding down. Trico's have or will be starting very soon. Midge patterns and nymphs are taking most of the fish. Terrestrials are becoming more important as we get farther into summer. The fishing is still good and the levels are pretty good as this is being written so head out! -The Poconos have slowed as well with the better fishing in the early mornings and later in the afternoon and evenings. Water levels and hatches are still good as is the fishing. -Warm water fishing is also getting better with each week. Good numbers of Smallmouth being caught in local streams. Largemouth will also only continue to get better as the month progresses. Don't miss out on these fish they are a lot of fun. Early mornings and dusk are good times. - We love to see what our customers are reeling in. If you have any photos of your latest catch send them to us at fishon@mainstreamoutfitters.com along with any details you want to add. You can make our Braggin' Board and share your glory with the world! |
